BioWhat this is:
This is my attempt to write something for my boyfriend everyday for an entire year. May 24th is the official start date. There will be posts before that to get myself into the swing of things. I'm not sure what exactly will be in here. There may be letters, rants, drawings, or any number of random things. I tend to write like I have an audience so it'll probably end up sounding like I'm talking to a group of friends most of the time. I intend to write whatever I'm feeling be it good, bad, or completely insane. I warn you that there will be mature content. Well, nothing too detailed, but things will be mentioned.
Who we are:
I'm Heather, and my boyfriend is Jeremy. I'm 23. He's 27. We're both working towards degrees in computer support and networking at the local college. Our shared interests are video games, anime/manga, reading, sci-fi and b horror movies, food, animals, hiking, theater, movies, and travel. I enjoy belly dancing, cooking, art, and am a huge sumo wrestling fan. He likes paint ball, four wheelers, getting on people's nerves, and miniatures games. I live in a tiny town of about 400 people, and he'll also live here in June.
How it began:
We met when our mutual friends invited him to join our Dungeons and Dragons group. When we met, we thought the same thing about each other: "I wish this person would shut up and go away until Julie and Jason get here." I was uninterested in dating and quite looking forward to being a crazy old cat lady, and he was in the process of divorcing a stupid whore after only a few months of "marriage". We began to like each other due to our friends constantly teasing us about it. Jason would tease him at work, and Julie would tease me when we hang out. They'd often conspire to get us together. As we got to know each other, we both developed crushes on the other and had the same reaction to realizing it: a long string of curse words followed by acceptance. He eventually confessed his feelings a few hours before I planned to, and all our friends said "About damn time."
Our current relationship:
We will have been dating three years on May 24th. Since we haven't been together too long so we're still in that "honeymoon" phase. I'm looking forward to both the "comfortable" and "making life a living hell" phases. We've been told that we're either a very disgusting couple by pretty much everyone. We're quite mean to each other. Between work and school, we mostly spend the weekends together. He stays over here on Wednesday nights to bring me to school in the morning. We spend a lot more time together in the summer. We'll have even more time once he gets his house here. We'll be in walking distance so we can bug each other all the time now.
